R.I.P.

For those of you who don't already know Boscoe was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) earlier this year. He lost a leg to the disease in February and passed away on Thursday at about 6:30 p.m. at our vets office. He was nine and half-years-old or 67 depending on how you count.

I never had the chance to meet him, but I've heard enough about him to know he was an awesome dog.

Like Marc said, hang in there dude.

Sorry to hear about this man. Boscoe, from what I heard, rivaled the best of 'em.

We who choose to surround ourselves
with lives even more temporary
than our own, live within a fragile
circle, easily and often breached.
Unable to accept its awful gaps,
we still would live no other way.
We cherish memory as the only certain immortality,
never fully understanding the necessary plan.
